Randomness and Earth Day GIVEAWAY X3

Slacker. My lack of blogging is due to my day job taking over my nights.  A couple faithful followers have let me know my lack of posting has them a little irritated. To honor my patient and faithful followers there will be an Earth Day giveaway at the end of this random post.

Farmers Market.  The Archbold Area Farmers Market returns this July on Thursdays from 3:00-6:00! Don’t forget to join the Archbold Area Farmers Market fan page on Facebook.farmers market

New Blogger. My first and only guest poster, Jill, is starting a blog! It’s a cooking blog.  Check it out here.

Bummer. Yesterday I locked my keys in my car in Napoleon! Nice.

Trees. One of my faithful followers got engaged this week! Congratulations to Toni and Joe!  Toni loves trees. In fact, her engagement ring was hidden in a book about trees!   I’m posting this knafziger photography picture for Toni! She told me she liked it once.

MMMMM. I started a post about these mini birch syrup pancake muffins I made, but never finished it.  Go here at bakerella.com to see her post about mini maple pancake muffins. I substituted the birch syrup for the maple.IMG_9967
Because they are “pancake” muffins, I also dipped them in birch syrup from Stella Leona.  Wow. Double delish.

Thirteen.  Speaking of Stella Leona…Monday was a long day, but when I got home two hours passed the original ETA I gave Kent, dinner and 13 new Stella Leona chocolate samples where waiting for me.  Yes, we tried them all. We had an official taste testing. Three of our favorites were the Cherry Almond, Espresso (Guatemala) and Peanut Butter.

Blogger Sighting.  I spotted this local blogger Saturday night at Stella Blue. Check out her blog all about fashion called Domestic Sophisticate.

Teeth.  I love this little guy. His teeth and the space between them are my fav. 042110-39

Earth Day Giveaway.  I am giving away 3 copies of a New York Times best seller, The Green Book.  It’s a quick and megasimple read with  great green ideas.  Leave a comment on this post about anything in this Randomness and Giveaway Post before 9:00PM Tuesday.  Three winners will be selected randomly and must contact megasimple via e-mail by 9:00pm Wednesday to claim their prize and provide contact information.

  5. Megan - I'm trying to delete my other comment so i don't have two for the random giveaway... I wanted you to know we tried the 'puffins' or 'muncakes' this morning and they were so good and easy to make! We used a regular sized muffin pan and they still worked out.

And thank you again for the shout out - I do love that photo!! :D

  6. I wondered where you were :-) Hope things at work start to slow down for you soon! As for your posts, I LOVED Wicked and I am not a big "play" kind of person, but it was wonderful. Our family is so looking forward to getting out to Sauder Village this summer. I have so many wonderful memories going there as a child with my Great Grandma, and I can't to share all of it with my girls :-)
